BICEP CURL COMPETITION
Competitors perform as many curls as they can in 60 seconds.
The form is above parallel at the top of each rep. Upper arm (humerus bone) must be parallel or higher to the floor for the rep to count. Bar must touch legs at the bottom of each rep. Legs and hips must be static and not used for momentum.
Each improper rep will be deducted from the number of total reps.
The overall winner will have completed the most judge approved clean dips
Chalk is permitted. Straps and gloves are not permitted.
Male & Female Classes.
Men’s Weight Classes
Up to and including 150 lbs – Use 55 lbs curl bar
Over 150 and up to and including 200 lbs – Use 65 lbs curl bar
Over 200 lbs and up – Use 75 lbs curl bar
Female Weight Classes
Up to and including 130 lbs – Use 20 lbs curl bar
Over 130 lbs and up to and including 170 lbs – Use 30 lbs curl bar
Over 170 lbs – Use 40 lbs curl bar
